The Wide Bay Australia story began in the 1960’s when entrepreneurial business people from regional Queensland cities founded a number of building societies to provide a local alternative to the ‘big 4’ banks.

Over time these entities merged to form Wide Bay Australia Ltd – now the largest financial institution based north of Brisbane and still offering an alternative to regional Queenslanders for personal and business banking.

Our vision is to be the leader in banking in our communities, and while our core regions are Mackay through to the Sunshine Coast, our financial operations extend from Cairns to the border and interstate.

About Geoff Lee
I have lived and worked in Rockhampton for the last 10 years. Prior to that I have worked in a diverse range of towns/cities including Katherine in the NT as well as Deniliquin, Wagga Wagga, Bathurst, & Woy Woy in NSW. I enjoy Traveling & fishing especially in the remote areas of the NT.

I have worked with and helped a diverse range of businesses over many years and look forward to continuing this in my role with Wide Bay Australia. My area is Rockhampton, Yeppoon and out to Emerald and beyond.
